Westerlees B&B is based in Arisaig (meaning the Safe Place in Gaelic). 2019 awarded 4 star from Visit Scotland. Arisaig is centered on the shore of Loch nan Ceall with magnificent scenery and is a perfect base to explore the local area, villages Morar and Mallaig and is in easy reach of getting the ferry to Skye.
Arisaig station is the most westerly railway station in the UK and during the summer months the Jacobite Steam Trains runs from Fort William to Mallaig that comes through the village. Westerlees offers 3 rooms – 2 double bedrooms with en-suites and 1 twin room with access to its own toilet and shower. Breakfast room has a microwave oven for guests who may wish to purchase a pre-prepared meal to sit in, of an evening. On the first floor there is a Guest Lounge for guests to sit in and admire the wonderful sunsets over the Loch, with views out to the islands of Rum, Eigg and Muck, watch TV or sit quietly and read a book. Breakfast is either a full English/Scottish or continental with fresh eggs provided by hens in the village. At Westerlees BB we aim to provide a memorable experience for our guests.
