The Old Byre, Knoydart High quality self catering accommodation for up to 14 people in magical Knoydart, called the “Last British wilderness”. Whether you come to walk or climb the hills, fish the lochs or simply relax, the magic of Knoydart will stay with you long after you leave. The spacious accommodation is extremely comfortable and well equipped. Two double bedrooms, two twin bedded rooms and one four bedded room, two extra beds available on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Layout We have five bedrooms in total at the Old Byre Knoydart - two double bedrooms, two twin bedded rooms and one four bedded room (bunk beds). All of our bedrooms have underfloor heating with separate heating controls. Linen is provided (duvet, sheet and towel). Two extra beds are available, if needed, so that you could bring up to 14 people. The three bathrooms are finished to the highest standard with big showers like Niagra falls, big soft fluffy towels and an excellent hot water system. There is a large drying room to get your wet clothes and boots dry for the next day's outing. Entertain/Kitchen Cater for up to 14 people in our marble topped kitchen. It’s a cooks' paradise with two oven Bumatic stove, gas hob, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge, ice maker, microwave and dishwasher. Ask at the foundation office for a supply of hill raised organic lamb or venison and make something special. Living Area The 50 sq metre living room has a great atmosphere, with stone walls, underfloor heating, Wood and Peat stove, DVD and CD player, i-pod station and HiFi. You can keep in touch with the outside world with wireless internet throughout the Old Byre. There is also a coin operated washing machine and dryer. Outdoors Enjoy our fabulous barbecue area, with a sitting area and a deluxe American outdoor barbecue. There is also one private mooring in the bay at your disposal for yachts and a private Helicopter landing pad on our Bay Garden at The Old Forge.
