Lochailort · Inverness-shire
Roshven Chalets are on the shores of Loch Ailort, a sea loch that opens into the Sound of Arisaig. The highest hill for quite a distance - Roisbheinn - rises steeply out of the loch at the back of the farm to just under 3000 feet. For the adventurous, the views from the top are almost too spectacular to describe.
We are in an excellent position for those who want to tour Lochaber and even further afield - whether it is a boat trip to Skye and the Small Isles, a ride on the steam train or just a walk in the hills. There is a wealth of history in Moidart, not least the associations with Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite movement; and with all the natural flora and fauna you will run out of time to see and do it all.
