A warm, local welcome awaits you at our family-run guesthouse in the beautiful North West coast fishing village of Mallaig.
In addition to spectacular views of the harbour and marina we provide a homely house where comfort, quality and relaxation feature highly. The Moorings Guesthouse is ideally situated, right on the Marina front, being literally 2/3minutes walk from the village centre with all its amenities…Bus, Ferry and Rail terminals, restaurants, bars and shops. All our recently refurbished ensuite bedrooms have been tastefully decorated with a subtle Scottish theme. You will find hints of tartan, Highland cows, stags and of course the Scottish Thistle. To round of our highland welcome you will also find a complementary decanter of whisky in your room. We have a selection of twin, double and single rooms available.

A continental breakfast is served in our breakfast room overlooking the harbour and marina from 8am-8:45am.

Ensuring we align with Scottish Government guidance and to keep everyone safe, we will be implementing several precautionary measures. Hand Sanitiser will be available for all guests. All surface areas and touch points will be cleaned multiple times during the day and between guests entering and exiting the guesthouse. We aim to deliver the best and safest experience for all guests and ourselves so will continuously monitor and assess our protocols in accordance with Scottish Government and local health authortiy regulations.
