At GlenanCross SelfCatering we have two self-catering properties. The first, Cross House, is a large four bedroom farm house with extensive gardens sleeping up to eight persons in four bedrooms and the second, Cross Cottage, is a traditional farm cottage in a lovely old 19th century courtyard with access to extensive gardens, sleeping up to four persons.
GlenanCross SelfCatering is in Morar on the B8008, adjacent to the famed Camusdarach beach, just off the A830 (The Road to the Isles), and a few miles from Mallaig and Arisaig.
Cross House is a 19th century farmhouse. Over two floors with one access to a distinctive farm cobbled courtyard and the other to large well tendered gardens, both with outside seating and benches with tables, the house provides everything a group of eight or fewer would need for a great holiday or break or event. There is a large fully equipped kitchen/diner with AGA and electric cooker, two large fridges, dishwasher and washer/dryer machine, etc., including a large dining table that accommodates up to ten people. The large sitting room, with three sofas and a wood burning stove/fire, is a lovely place to spend convivial evenings. Two porches, one to the courtyard and the other to the garden, offer excellent places to sit, chat and relax. The four bedrooms, having been B and B rooms, are fully equipped to offer individual comfort, with three ensuite rooms (one double and two twin) and one double room with adjacent private facilities, and all with door locks and keys, with bed linen and towels provided. All have flat screen satellite HD TV and DVD players. Free WIFI is available throughout the house.
Cross Cottage is a cosy traditional self-catering property contained in the GlenanCross courtyard. The property sleeps two to four in a large sitting room with a discrete sleeping area with a double bed and a large adjoining double bedroom with twin beds. There is a bathroom with shower and a fully equipped modern kitchen. The sitting room offers table and chairs for dining, a comfortable leather sofa and chair, wooden furniture, a wall hung flat screen TV with DVD and a wood burning stove. It is comfortably furnished in a traditional cottage style and contains everything a family or couple enjoying the Highlands and Islands would need. Access is through patio doors from a decking area in the enclosed farm courtyard with outdoor furniture. A rear Velux door allows guests to relax in extensive gardens with outdoor furniture.
