Faire Chaolais is our newly built holiday house in Morar with views towards the 'Silver Sands' and the Isle of Rum. The house sleeps six: there are three bedrooms, two shower rooms and one bathroom. On the upper floor there is a large open-plan living and dining area with sofas, log-burning stove and balcony all looking out to the sea.
The house was architecturally designed in contemporary style by Dualchas to make the most of the position of the site and was shortlisted for an RIBA award. It sits on former croft land accessed directly off the main Road to the Isles with the beautiful West highland railway line running above the site.
Upper floor: entrance, utility room, toilet/washroom, fully equipped kitchen, large open-plan living/dining area with wood-burning stove, balcony with views to the Isle of Rum.
Lower floor: master bedroom, main bathroom with bath and over-bath shower, second double bedroom with en-suite with toilet and walk-in shower, bunk bedroom also with en-suite with toilet and walk-in shower, central lobby with bookshelves.
Facilities: Fully equipped kitchen with acrylic worktops, dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge-freezer Utility room with washing machine and drying rack. Freesat TV and DVD player. FM radio, CD and bluetooth audio player. Telephone and unlimited WiFi”. Supply of wet weather Games, DVD'S and Books. Underfloor heating throughout supplied by air-source heat pump. Heat recovery ventilation system.

Bunk beds & small stream mean the house is not recommended for toddlers.
