Sailing from Mallaig
Enjoy a day out on a Caledonian MacBrayne (Calmac) ferry from Mallaig to Armadale on the Isle of Skye or the Small Isles (Canna, Eigg, Muck and Rum) and to Lochboisdale. Western Isles Cruises offers a variety of ways in which to get out on the water and see the landscape and wildlife. Leaving from Mallaig Pier you have the variety of 1 hour Wildlife Cruises, Rib Adventures, Knoydart Excursions and Ferry Service. Please visit the links below for direct access to all the different sailing options. If you are short for time or visiting on the Jacobite Steam Train we recommend the daily 1hr Wildlife Cruises that operates perfectly in line with the train times. A family group option could be a private Rib Adventure charter, a bespoke service that allows the freedom to explore. The Western Isles Knoydart Ferry Service operates daily return sailings to Inverie-Knoydart and Tarbert and is a favourite day trip.
