Ben and Jane offer a warm welcome to this beautiful part of Scotland.
So much to do in the area but still a place where you can hear the silence
and enjoy a pace of life far from the city hustle and bustle.

	Shalimar is set above the south end of Mallaig with views to the sea and the islands of Skye, Rum and Eigg.
We offer 3 well-furnished bedrooms. One Twin room, a family room (double & 2 singles) and a double room on the ground floor giving easy disabled access. all with TV, hospitality tray and wash-basins. Easy access shower/toilet on the ground floor and a bathroom with shower on the first floor. B&B accommodation from £25 to £35 per person per night.

There is fishing available (Sea and fresh water) nearby and many walks for beginners or experts, some guided by the local Ranger.  Golf is about 5 miles away at
Tragh and trips to Skye, Eigg, Rum, Canna and Muck leave from Mallaig and Arisaig.  Maybe a stroll round the bay and then fresh caught sea-food at any
of the many local eating-places. For beach lovers the beautiful white sands of Morar and Arisaig are not far away.

You may see whales, dolphins, basking sharks, sun fish, seals or sea otters along with many species of birds.

We can cater for special diets and offer early breakfast for walkers or people catching the first ferry. Late arrivals may be able to buy a snack and we do packed lunches by arrangement.

We are regretfully unable to accept pets and Shalimar is a non-smoking house and we do not have credit card facilities.

Shalimar is open all the year.
