Only 4 miles from both the picturesque Arisaig and Mallaig, you are well served by restaurants and other attractions.It is a mile from the beautiful Traigh 9-hole golf course, and from Mallaig you can take a ferry to the islands, or a boat trip to see whales and seals. You can also take a trip on a steam train to the vibrant town of Fort William, which nestles under Ben Nevis to the south, and which lays good claim to being the Outdoor Capital of Britain.
The Beach, with its fantastic views across the sound to the small islands, pristine white sands and clear water is a truly magical place that adults, children and dogs will all love! It was made famous through its starring role in the Film 'Local Hero' and yet is utterly unspoilt.
