This charming conversion of a 19th century barn provides really comfortable accommodation in a variety of rooms; twin, triple, family/bunk, with magnificent views across the sea to the mainland. The building is centrally heated, has a lovely open plan living /dining room with polished maple floor, woodburning stove, easy chairs etc, a large well equipped kitchen, ample showers, laundry and drying area.
Backpackers: £9.50 per person per night or £22 per night (for 2 people sharing a twin room)
Group bookings from £8.50 - £9.50 per person per night.
Parties of less than 14 requiring exclusive use of the building: £120 per night.

Ten minutes from a lovely sandy beach and one mile from the pier (where there is a licensed tearoom, shop, post office and craft shop), the Glebe Barn is well-situated for exploring the island's exciting landscape. (Evening meals are available are available at the tearoom by prior arrangement)

Admire the view from An Sgurr, the largest mass of columnnar pitchstone in the British Isles above which Golden Eagles soar, visit the Massacre Cave where the entire island population were suffocated, the early Christian graveyard, and the famous singing sands or investigate the rich and varied natural habitats and rare plant and bird species with which the island abounds.
