Fauim-na-mara is a bungalow centrally located in the village of Mallaig. The property is set back on a hill from the sea shore overlooking Mallaig Harbour. It has beautiful panoramic views across the sea to the Isle of Skye and the Small Isles of Eigg & Rum.
This property has been recently refurbished and is a new listing for March 2009.

Fauim-na-mara comprises of

3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 twins)

a large open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room

a main sitting room with satellite TV

a bathroom with shower

a conservatory

The house is fully central heated.
All bed linen and towels are provided.
There is off road parking available.
Unfortunately this property is not suitable for very elderly or disabled persons due to the elevated location of the property.

The house is a few minutes walk away from the village centre which has numerous shops, restaurants, bars, train station and ferry terminal. Mallaig is a busy fishing village with a swimming pool and Heritage Centre.
The surrounding area has a lot to offer and Mallaig is an ideal base for exploring it. Caledonian MacBrayne has the ferry service to the Isle of Skye and the Small Isles of Eigg, Rum, Muck & Canna. There are day trips to Knoydart and boat trips are also available from the nearby village of Arisaig (7 miles away). There are several nearby beaches (Silver sands of Morar, Camusdarach & Traigh) all of which are less than a 10 minute drive away. Traigh also has a 9 hole golf course.

Prices:

July & August £650 per week

May, June & September £550 per week

March, April & October £450 per week

November to February £350 per week

Christmas & Hogmanay lets by arrangement

Electricity is included in the price.
No smoking allowed. Sorry, no pets.
