There are spectacular walks, stunning secluded white sandy beaches, and a wealth of wildlife. See herons, buzzards, deer, seals, Golden Eagles, and there is both sea fishing and loch fishing (by permit). Daily boat trips are available during the summer months to the Small Isles with regular sightings of porpoise, minke whale & basking shark. |

Choose a full Scottish breakfast served with Downey Birch's own free-range organic eggs. During the season there are fresh fruits including redcurrants, strawberries and blackcurrants, home made preserves, freshly picked tomatoes, home baked speciality breads, and cut flowers daily. Vegetarian and special dietary requirements can be catered. Breakfast is served at 8:00 am. |

Smoking is only permitted in the house gardens.
We are happy to accommodate well behaved small dogs by arrangement. Open all year except Christmas week (but even then you can try your luck). Tariff: £30 per person per night

Downey Birch House can be found above the big stone barn first left as you travel into Arisaig from the highest turn off the A830. Just take the driveway next to the barn.
