This small estate, bordering the sea, makes an ideal centre for a peaceful holiday in the Highlands of Scotland. The Victorian Stone Lodge, built in the 1860s by Aeneas Ranald MacDonell, forms the centre of the complex. The fields and dunes, surrounding the house, are home to a small flock of Hebridean Sheep and chickens as well as a wealth of wildlife, including buzzards, rabbits, pine martens, ravens, duck and many interesting plants typical of of a shifting sand environment. The Road to the Isles Agricultural Show is held here each year in June.
